It is my belief that at the core of every human being is an intrinsic state of health, awareness, compassion, and wisdom which remains untouched, unconditioned and ever-present, regardless of the situation we find ourselves in.
Unfortunately, this inherent state of well-being can become obscured by our conscious or unconscious reactions to painful childhood experiences, trauma and/or the many ways we have had to adapt to our environment and relationships from an early age. These obstacles can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, dissatisfaction with one's life and difficulty developing meaningful intimate relationships.
The journey of self-discovery taken in psychotherapy offers the opportunity to work through these obstacles and experience greater freedom as you re-connect with your innate qualities of compassion, wisdom, creativity, and resilience.
